Shoes and a Hair Cut makes the Outfit

Last friday, I bought my first pair of wedges from DSW and today was the first time I wore them out. Well, wore them out to class and doing errands. Typically the shoes that I adorne my feet with are either flats, tennis shoes, or boots in the winter. By now all, my shoes are at least are year or more old. Anyways, just by wearing a pair of wedges with an outfit that I usually wear with flats makes a difference, besides changing my height to 5'7" or 5'8".

After class, I went to get my hair cut. Usually I straighten my hair in the morning since it's the quickest and easiest thing to do, so it's kind of 'blah.' After the hair dresser finish cutting my hair, blew dry it straight with a round brush, which added volume to my hair. My hair went from 'blah' to 'pretty.' In a half hour combine that with my wedges it looked like I was ready for a date or a night out in the town even if it was only one in the afternoon.

Too bad I have neither a date nor any plans for the night, just working for three hours in tennis shoes and uniform with my hair up. I'm left with the satisfaction that I at least looked nice for myself and it only require to small little changes. Shoes and hair really do make the outfit.

Blog = Journal?

Just as the name implies, I'll be blogging about my world, aka my life. Another words, just my public journal. The reasoning being is my friend starting to blog and told me I should try to. So I am. Sometimes it's nice to share your thoughts on things and that's what I'm going to try to do.

I have another blog that I'll try to post book reviews in, since I do tend to read a lot.
