When I first created a blogger account it was before I had a gmail and before google bought blogger. I downloaded the blogger app for my phone but the easiest way to update this through my phone or the only way I kniw, is through my gmail. So I had to go through and make my gmail account an admin account because I cant merge my account with gmail...
